웹 페이지에 배경 이미지를 적용할 때, 주로 css의 opacity 속성을 이용하여 투명도를 조절한다.
그런데 opacity값은 하위 요소까지 적용되기 때문에 z-index 속성을 이용하는 등 추가적인 설정이 필요하다.
만약 이런 작업이 귀찮다면 투명도 조절을 css에서 하지 않고, 투명도가 이미 적용된 이미지를 바로 사용해도 된다.
